Coach Mark Caron, MS, CSCS, XPS is an athletic performance coach working with athletes from professional to youth levels in volleyball, basketball, golf, and other sports in the Philippines for the last 12 years. He is currently with the Creamline Coolsmashers Volleyball Team and was involved with other teams such as Philippine Azkal Football Team, Zamboanga Family’s Brand Basketball Team, NU Basketball Team to name a few. He consults for Center for Musculoskeletal Science Asia and Phenomelite Training Academy (Bacolod) to work with people with injuries and people who wants to get back in shape and health. He is a graduate of Bachelor of Sports Science and Master of Science in Human Movement Science from the University of the Philippines which he also teaches as a Senior Lecturer. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, EXOS Certified Performance Specialist, and SKLZ Performance Ambassador.

 

 

Mag Stretching Tayo!

Ngayon na may nararanasan tayong pandemic, maraming tao ang naiba ang takbo ng kanilang mga regular na gawain. Marami ang nalipat ang trabaho “online” or “work from home” upang makaiwas sa pagkakahawa sa virus. Sa ganitong sitwasyon ng trabaho ngayon, tayo ay nasa bahay lang, nakaharap ng matagal sa computer, at nakaupo maghapon. Dahil dito, nakakaramdam tayo ng paninigas ng mga kasukasuan lalo na sa balakang, likod, balikat at pati sa tuhod na maaaring lumala at maging sahi ng hirap sa paggalaw.

Kung kaya’t nararapat lang na magkaroon tayo ng isang ROUTINE na dapat nating gawin araw-araw para mapanatili ang ating flexibility upang makagalaw at makapagtrabaho tayo ng walang nararamdam. Isa pang benepisyo ng stretching ay kinakalma nya ang ating katawan at nakakabawas ng nararamdamang pagod at stress.

Sundin ang mga ehersisyo nakalista sa ibaba at gawin ng tatlumpung segundo (30s) ang bawat parte ng katawan.
